Geography is fundamental to just about everything we do. From the day to day activities of individuals to the management of large scale catastrophic events such as fire, flooding, or volcanic eruptions, spatio-temporal location gives us an underlying framework to analyse a range of geographically referenced things. Adding the Semantic Web to the mix gives us some interesting applications for using geographic data in new and useful ways.

Loosely defined, this project is a developing collection of work that is anything we at mindswap happen to be doing that is geographically oriented. More specifically, we are working on a number of services which are based on a set of geographic ontologies and data (translated into OWL)
