I just reproduced it.

Try this.  Load this ontology, then click on, say, "BedAndBreakfast". 

In the main edit pane, click "Add" next to "Superclass Of"

In the dialog, type in "FunnyFace".

When I do this, FunnyFace appears in the tree under BedAndBreakfast (as it
should), but there is no * on it.
