AssignmentThree

For AssignmentThree will again be working with FanLin and MolagaLakshmiNarasimhan, as on AssignmentTwo. Our project is called SmartMap. The basic idea can be summed up as "Semantic Expedia", but we hope to provide a few services that emphasize some of the neat emergent properties of the medium. Our first idea that we will be implementing is a "Wrong Turn Database". The motivation for this is simple: map services are good at telling you what to do, but bad at telling you what not to do. When taken in an aggregate form, this could be expanded to answer such questions as "Give me the easiest route" and "Give me the fastest route that you've seen". I'll be implementing the middleware, while Laks works on the client and Fan works on unwrapping mapping services.
